About Elite Dangerous Powerplay
EDPowerPlay is a live, community-run tracker for Powerplay 2.0 in Elite Dangerous. It ingests every Powerplay-relevant journal event flowing through the Elite Dangerous Data Network (EDDN) and reconstructs the live state of all twelve powers — control points, reinforcement, undermining, weekly cycle deltas, and system-by-system control changes — as commanders dock, jump and scan in real time.
The dashboard above shows the current cycle progress, top gainers and losers of the week, total control points across the galaxy, and a live activity feed of every system update as it streams in.
What you can do with EDPowerPlay
- Vulnerable systems — Strongholds and Fortified systems close to losing their state. Prime undermining targets for any commander grinding merits against an opposing power.
- Cascade analysis — Strongholds and Fortified anchors whose loss would cause neighbouring Exploited systems to fall with them (Fortified projects support across 20 ly, Stronghold across 30 ly). Multiplies the impact of a single undermining run.
- Powers overview — Per-power breakdowns: total control points, system counts split by Stronghold / Fortified / Exploited, recent activity, and active acquisition conflicts.
- Star system browser — Search, filter and sort every Powerplay system tracked, with control-point history charts, conflict progress, factions, settlements and nearby systems.
- Mining hotspots — Known ring hotspots and Hazardous Resource Extraction sites pulled from commander DSS scans and FSS signal reports — useful for picking merit-efficient mining systems.
